Lanes LLC ("La Limo") · Last updated: 28 June 2026

1. Scope

Lanes LLC ("Lanes", "La Limo", "we", "us" or "our") takes the protection of your personal data seriously and processes it in accordance with applicable data protection law.

This Privacy Policy explains which of your personal data we process, and for what purpose, when you:

(together, the "La Limo Services").

The La Limo Services are not directed at minors. Account holders must be adults.

This policy is framed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"). Where the data protection laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt (including Law No. 151 of 2020) also apply to our processing, we provide you with equivalent protections and rights.

2. Controller

The controller responsible for the processing of your personal data is:

Lanes LLC
10 Ahmed Zou Alfakar Street, [City / Governorate, Postal Code], Egypt
Tax registration number: 778-904-229
General contact: info@lalimo.app
Privacy and data requests: privacy@lalimo.app

3. Data Protection Officer

We have not appointed a formal Data Protection Officer. You can direct any question or request relating to your personal data to privacy@lalimo.app, and our team will handle it.

4. Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data at a level suited to the risk, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation, and the nature, scope, context, and purposes of processing.

Data transferred between your device and La Limo is generally encrypted in transit (TLS encryption). You can usually recognize an encrypted connection by the lock symbol in your browser's address bar.

If you contact us by email, please note that we cannot fully rule out access by third parties. For confidential information we recommend using a secure channel; please let us know if you would like to correspond in encrypted form.

5. Website and App Usage Data

When you use the La Limo Services for information purposes only — that is, without registering — we automatically collect certain technical data through your browser or device (together, "usage data"). This may include your IP address, the status code returned, the pages or screens you view, the date and time of the request, your browser type and version, the referring website, the device and operating system you use, and the volume of data transferred.

This usage data is stored in log files. We process it mainly to establish and maintain the technical connection, to keep the La Limo Services secure and functioning, to analyze and improve them (in pseudonymized or anonymized form where possible), and to detect and prevent misuse such as fraudulent bookings or cyberattacks.

Log files are deleted or anonymized once they are no longer required, unless we are required to retain them by law or you have consented to a longer retention period.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning service). Where you are a registered user or customer, the legal basis is also Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract — see section 9). Where you have consented to extended use of your usage data, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), which you may withdraw at any time.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The La Limo Services use cookies and similar technologies (such as small text files stored on your device) to function and to improve your experience.

We set essential cookies that are necessary to provide features you request — for example, to keep you logged in, remember your settings, and record your cookie choices. Where you consent, we also use analytics cookies to understand and improve how the La Limo Services are used (in pseudonymized or anonymized form where possible).

When you first use our website, a cookie-consent banner lets you accept, reject, or manage non-essential cookies. Your choice is recorded, and you can change it at any time through the banner or your browser settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may then not work properly.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) for non-essential cookies and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) for cookies that are strictly necessary.

7. The La Limo Mobile App

The La Limo app is a further way to access the La Limo Services, and broadly the same processing applies as for our website (see section 5) and for registered use (see section 9).

When you use the app, we may also collect information relating to the app or your device — for example, the device name, manufacturer, model, operating system, and app version.

The app can send push notifications to your device — for example, ride status updates. You will only receive push notifications if you enable them. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), and you can turn them off at any time in your device settings.

8. Social Media and Account Sign-In

Our pages. We maintain pages on social networks, currently including Instagram and Facebook. Each network's own provider is responsible for how it processes data on its platform; please refer to its privacy information.

Sign in with Google / Apple. You can choose to create or access your La Limo account using Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple. If you do, the provider transmits certain personal data to us (such as a verified email address or identifier) to set up and identify your account. The provider will tell you what data is shared, and the transfer requires your consent. You can always choose to register or sign in another way instead.

The legal basis for processing data via third-party sign-in is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future.

9. Account and Booking Data

When you register and use the La Limo Services or book a ride, we process the personal data you provide (your "customer data"), including:

We use your customer data to provide the La Limo Services — to create, maintain, and support your account, to process your bookings, and to arrange and deliver the rides you request. To do this, we share the data necessary to complete your ride with the chauffeur or partner transportation provider performing it. Where a ride takes place outside your home country, your booking data may be transmitted to the provider in that country so the ride can be carried out (Article 49(1)(b)–(c) GDPR).

Loyalty / bonus program. If you take part in our loyalty or bonus program, we process the data needed to operate it (such as your participation status and earned benefits). The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where it forms part of your agreement with us, and otherwise Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

We also process customer data to analyze and improve the La Limo Services, to promote them, to detect and resolve technical or operational problems, and to prevent misuse (such as fraudulent bookings or cyberattacks). In that respect the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest).

The legal basis for processing your customer data to register you and perform your bookings is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract). Where you provide additional, voluntary information (such as a flight number or special request), the basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) together with our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

10. Payment and Fraud Prevention

Payment. Bookings are paid by credit or debit card. Card details are handled by a certified payment service provider whose systems meet applicable security standards (such as PCI DSS). We use PayMob as our payment service provider; please refer to PayMob's own privacy information for details of its processing. La Limo does not itself store full card numbers (only abbreviated data, where needed, for analysis or fraud prevention). The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and, for fraud prevention, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

Fraud prevention. To confirm that a payment method is used by its rightful owner and to prevent fraud, data such as IP address, email address, and payment information may be processed and checked. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in preventing fraud).

Whistleblower reporting. We are committed to ethical and transparent business practices. If you become aware of conduct that may involve fraud, corruption, harassment, discrimination, or other misconduct, you can report it confidentially to support@lalimo.app. Reports are handled sensitively.

11. Communicating with Us

If you contact us — by phone, email, contact form, in-app live chat, or WhatsApp — we process the information you provide to handle your request and respond to you. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance or initiation of a contract).

We also use this contact data — in pseudonymized or anonymized form where possible — to improve the La Limo Services and to detect and prevent technical problems and misuse, on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

We may use third-party tools to communicate with you, such as our in-app live chat and WhatsApp. Where required, we put data processing agreements in place with those providers, and you should also consult their own privacy information.

12. Marketing Emails and Newsletter

If you have agreed, or where we are otherwise permitted, we use your contact data (such as your form of address, name, and email address) to send you offers and news about the La Limo Services.

Our marketing emails may contain a small graphic (a "pixel") that lets us see, on a statistical basis, whether and when an email was opened and whether links were clicked.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) or, where permitted for similar products and services to an existing customer, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by writing to info@lalimo.app — at no cost beyond standard transmission charges.

13. Service Providers (Processors)

Where we involve third parties in our processing — for example, hosting, infrastructure, analytics, payment, or communication providers — they act on our behalf as processors under appropriate safeguards (in particular Article 28 GDPR), and only where they offer sufficient guarantees of suitable technical and organizational measures.

Our providers currently include Google / Firebase (app and cloud infrastructure) and PayMob (payments), among others. Where a processor is located outside your country, we ensure the transfer is covered by an appropriate safeguard, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses (Articles 44–46 GDPR).

14. Your Rights

If we process your personal data, you have the following rights:

To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@lalimo.app.

15. Automated Decision-Making

In limited cases, you may be subject to an automated decision (Article 22 GDPR) — for example, if you re-enter a payment method that has previously failed, or where there are current indications of a fraudulent booking. In such cases, a booking request may be declined. Such a decision may be necessary to enter into or perform a contract (Article 22(2)(a) GDPR). You can contact us at privacy@lalimo.app to express your point of view, request human review, or contest the decision.

16. Data Retention

We delete your personal data once the legal basis for processing it no longer applies. Note that more than one legal basis may apply at the same time, and a new one (such as a statutory retention obligation under commercial or tax law) may take effect when another ends. We retain data only for as long as necessary or as required by law.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update or amend this Privacy Policy where necessary — for example, due to changes in law, regulation, or our services. The current version is the one published in the La Limo Services.

Cookie Notice

The La Limo Services use cookies and similar technologies to function and to improve your experience. Cookies may be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain so we can recognize your device on a later visit), and may be set by us or by third parties.

We use:

You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie-consent banner at any time, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may then be limited. The storage period varies by cookie.

The legal basis for processing personal data via cookies is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest, for strictly necessary cookies).
